About this deal

Most techs we talked to said 15 years is the typical life expectancy of a decent AC/furnace. That means a lot of us are on borrowed time. Pricing is so varied on this and we found Coastal Heating & Cooling to be honest, middle of the road and fair (and seriously some of the nicest people ever).

Coastal uses AC Pro, Goodman, and General Electric units depending on availability and preference. The replacement pricing below applies to homes from 700 to 3,000 square feet. They're happy to offer other brands or higher efficiency ratings at additional cost, but have found that 14 SEER systems improve a home's energy efficiency significantly and sufficiently here in Southern California.

The guarantee

Manufacturer warranty: 10-year limited parts and a lifetime heat exchanger. Plus a 5-year workmanship guarantee from Coastal covering labor to replace parts under the manufacturer's warranty, and against any leaks or malfunctions of the system, as long as Coastal stays the only contractor to alter the system.
